不銹鋼

·Stainless steel is commonly known as rust-free steel (RFS) or Inox. This is a ferrous alloy that increases the corrosion resistance of a substance by the addition of chrome and nickel. The principle is based on protecting the surface area by means of chrome-oxide and nickel-oxide molecules.

不銹鋼，也稱為“無銹鋼"或者“耐污鋼"。這種含鐵元素的合金材料通過添加鉻和鎳鍛煉后極具耐腐蝕性。其原理基于依靠氧化鉻分子和氧化鎳分子來使鋼材表面得到充分保護。

·These molecules are much larger than the underlying iron molecules, which prevents the latter from binding with oxygen and forming iron oxides – better known as rust.

這種氧化分子比其下層的鐵分子要大得多，充分保護后者不會被氧化及形成氧化鐵分子膜——通俗地講就是生銹。

常規護理及保養

Since stainless steel is not totally impervious to corrosion, it is recommended that the item be cleaned regularly with mild soap and water to prevent any stubborn stains from building up.

由于不銹鋼也不受任何銹蝕氧化影響的，所以在常規清洗護理時一貫推薦使用溫和型肥皂及清水來去除和預防堆積的頑固污漬。
